"Memories of Tomorrow" is the first of "The Adventures of Comicman." A dash of science fiction license allows the creation of a mythological figure to be the embodiment of a philosophy of perspective and humor. As such he is the ultimate comic mind and this book takes place from within that mind.

According to the author the character was invented as an improvisational comedian in order to make use of characters that didn't fit into the author's own stage acts. According to Comicman himself his scribe takes too much credit, the origin of the superhero who can become whatever character is needed at any time to save the day is accurate as written in the book.

Mark Hertzberg has performed stand-up comedy and Improvisational comedy using several secret identities for close to two decades. At some point he became an Optometrist in order to stay in school longer, and is the only practicing prison doctor on the comedy circuit. He has served as VP of the National Comedians Association. After selling the first joke he ever submitted to Jay Leno he decided the obvious next step was an entire book, the scope of which comedy has never  seen. Among his  projects in the works is "A Teacher's Guide to Using Comedy in Class," a look at secrets the class clown already knows.
